How to Prune English Climbing Roses

‘A Shropshire Lad’ Climbing is a strong healthy variety with large glossy leaves and gorgeous soft peachy-pink flowers. The blooms are cup-shaped in the early stages, opening to form attractive rosettes. As a climber it grows to10 ft and as a shrub with arching stems to 5 ft tall by 4 ft. It has few thorns. Its Tea rose fragrance is deliciously fruity. Repeat-flowering. RHS “Award of Garden Merit.” (David Austin 1996, Ausled).
